Account deletion
Delete your account
How to delete your MoveURAS account and the personal data behind it, in the app or by email, what goes, what has to stay for a while, and why.
Last updated 26 September 2026 · Solaryxdev, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
The short version
- In the MoveURAS app, open You, then Privacy and safety, and choose Delete account. You are signed out at once, and the account is deleted seven days later. Until then, sign in again and open Delete account in Settings to keep it.
- Without the app, or for an account on the partner panel or the staff console, write to [email protected] from the address the account signs in with.
- We send a short code to that address, you send it back, and we confirm the deletion by email within 30 days — normally within a week.
- Invoices and the redemption records behind them are kept for as long as UAE law requires, with nothing in them that identifies you. Everything else goes.
Which accounts this page is about
MoveURAS is a product of Solaryxdev, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, and this is the deletion page for every account that MoveURAS holds: an account in the MoveURAS app, on an iPhone or an Android phone, and the accounts businesses and our own team use to sign in to the partner panel at partners.moveuras.com and to the staff console. If you hold any of those, this page is for you.
In the app
- Open You, then Privacy and safety, and choose Delete account. The screen says what is deleted, what a business keeps and why, and when.
- Confirm with Delete my account. You are signed out of the phone at once, and from then on the account earns no more points.
- Seven days later the account is deleted, and it cannot be undone after that. Until then, sign in again and open Delete account in Settings to keep it. Nothing will have been removed.
If the address your app account signs in with also signs in to a business's partner panel or to the staff console, the app cannot delete it, and says so, because a business must keep an owner and the platform must keep someone to run it. Write to us instead, as below.
Asking by email
- From the email address your account signs in with, write to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account". Nothing else is needed in the message.
- We reply to the account's own address with a short code and ask you to send it back. That is the whole identity check, and it is the same one you pass every time you sign in: the code goes to the mailbox, so only somebody who can read it can answer. We ask for nothing else — no identity document, no phone call, no form. If you no longer control that mailbox, say so; we will find another way to be sure it is you that does not mean collecting more about you than we already hold.
- If you are the only owner of a business on MoveURAS, say in the same message either which colleague should take it over — their name and the address they sign in with — or that the business is closing. A business must keep one owner, so we make that change for you before the account goes; there is nothing for you to do in the panel, and an account that would leave a business ownerless is held, with the reason, until this is settled.
- We acknowledge the request, carry it out, and write again when it is done. The whole thing takes at most 30 days, and usually about a week. An app account asked for this way is deleted without a second seven days, because you have already confirmed it.
What is deleted
From an account in the app:
- Every activity you recorded or imported, including ones you had removed, the points they earned, and any change you made to them.
- Your points. A claim still open at a counter is closed first, and its points are returned before they go.
- The address the account signs in with, every way of signing in to it, and its sign-in history.
- Your name, city and support code on the profile, and the record of which terms you accepted and that you confirmed your age.
- Your invitation to MoveURAS, if you had one.
From an account on the partner panel or the staff console:
- The sign-in account, its email address, and every session that is open on it.
- Your name and city on the profile.
- Your place on any business's team, so the account can no longer sign in to it.
- The record of which notifications you had read.
- Any email still queued to your address, and the record of email already sent to it.
- Any demonstration link sent to you, and the record of it being opened, including the network address it was opened from.
- A contact card in our partner records that carries your address.
- An unaccepted invitation to join a team, which is cancelled.
- Free text a member of our team wrote that names you or carries your address — a note on a call, a comment on a task. We search for both when the request comes in, read every hit by hand and remove what is about you. If you know of something we have missed, point us at it and it goes too.
What is kept, and why
A business pays us for each confirmed redemption at its counter, and UAE tax and commercial law require the records behind an invoice to be kept for at least five years after the period they belong to. So three things stay, none of which names you once the account is gone:
- Invoices issued to a business, the redemption records they are summed from, and the claims made at a business's counter, whether or not they were redeemed. They belong to the business, and they carry an account number that no longer resolves to a person.
- The audit record of what was done on an account: an offer approved, a team member added, a dispute raised, an activity reviewed, a deletion asked for. It cannot be edited, by design, and it names an account number rather than a person. Where it records an invitation to MoveURAS, it also holds a one-way code made from the address the invitation went to.
- Messages you wrote in a business's support conversation stay with that conversation, no longer attributed to you, because the business is entitled to the history of what it asked us.
Where one of those records still points at your account, the account is not removed outright: it is emptied of everything personal, its address replaced with a placeholder, and locked so it can never sign in again. Server logs kept for security expire on their own schedule and are not edited for a deletion request.
Deleting in the app does not reach email you have sent to support. If you want that gone too, write to us and say so, and it goes.
Everything else you can ask for
Deletion is one of the things you can ask for. You can also ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for a copy in a portable form, and object to a use of it. The privacy notice says how, and the same address answers all of them.
