About MoveURAS.
A free app for thirty sports, and the cafés and shops that reward the effort. Built by Solaryxdev in Sharjah, opening in Dubai.
What it is
MoveURAS records thirty sports. Runs, rides, swims and other sessions measured by GPS earn points, for the effort and never for your weight. Points buy real things at independent cafés and shops nearby, and those businesses pay us only when somebody walks in and redeems. The app is free for the people who use it, and nothing that is free today ever becomes paid.
What it holds itself to
- Free stays free. Tracking, history, records and export have no paid tier and never will.
- Nobody learns who you are. A business sees a code for you that is different at every business, never your name or your activity.
- Where you went is never kept. The app measures distance while you record, and never saves or sends the route.
- A refusal always says why. When something cannot happen, the app and the panels say what stopped it.
- No number we cannot back. There is no user count on this site, because there is not one worth printing yet.
Who builds it
MoveURAS is a product of Solaryxdev, a studio in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The app, the partner panel and this site are built in-house and run on our own servers in Germany, with Cloudflare in front of them.
Dubai is the first city. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah are a waitlist for now, and the cafés and shops that ask decide which opens next.
